Workshops

I’m Toni Murphy — an event producer and creative wellbeing practitioner, and the founder of Touch Grass CIC: an outdoor community centring the wellbeing of queer people of colour.

My practice sits at the intersection of nature connection, creativity, and care. As a queer migrant woman of colour, I’m interested in what it means to feel safe enough to soften and how we can create spaces that invite rest, expression, and belonging outside of nightlife culture. My workshops blend mindful outdoor experiences with gentle creative prompts, grounded meditation, and community-led reflection.

I create sessions for community groups, cultural institutions, organisations, and festivals (ranging from low-key local walks to multi-part programmes) always with accessibility, emotional safety, and joy at the core.
My workshops are designed to be:

-
Trauma-aware and consent-led with clear choices, gentle pacing, and no pressure to share.
-
Rooted in nature using place, seasonality, and sensory grounding as a support.
-
Creatively freeing, prioritising process over “talent” and making space for play.
-
Community-centred with activities that help people connect with themselves and each other.

Sessions can be delivered indoors, outdoors, or blended, and can be tailored for different access needs (mobility, neurodiversity, energy-limiting conditions, etc.).
